2 tbsp kosher salt
16 oz half and half
6 cloves garlic, crushed
6 oz grated parmesan

peel and dice potatoes

place potatoes in pot, and cover with water, then add salt.

Bring to a boil over medium-high heat, then reduce heat to maintain a rolling boil. cook until potatoes fall apart when poked with a fork

heat half and half and garlic in a saucepan over medium heat until simmering, then remove from heat and set aside

Remove potatoes from heat, and drain off water.

mash potatoes, then add garlic-cream mixture, and parmesan. Stir to combine

let stand for 5 minutes so mixture thickens, then serve
